About Mother Puckers
We are a WCHL women's hockey organization in the Chicago Western Suburbs dedicated to promoting hockey for all women, regardless of experience or know-how. Our goal is play a sport we love with great enthusiasm and, above all, FUN! Looking for a great positive group to joke around with and get a bit of exercise as well? We are it! Mother Puckers Code Of Conduct Policy
Sportsmanship Code of Conduct:
Respect the game, play fairly, and follow all rules and policies.
Accept the decisions of officials with good grace.
Demonstrate good sportsmanship before, during, and after games, win or lose.
Represent oneself, the team, and the program in a positive demeanor, both on and off the ice, including social media.
Be responsible for the sportsmanship of myself and teammates. And assist in maintaining a respectful environment for all participants.
Be courteous to opposing teams and officials, and treat all with respect.
Not engage in any behavior which would endanger the health, safety, or wellbeing of any player or official.
Not engage in verbal, written, or physical threats or abuse.
Not initiate a fight, scuffle, or exchange with any individual (including but not limited to: pushing, shoving, punching, kicking, etc.).
Respect your coaches and be open to any advice they may give you.
If a Captain or a Coach calls you to the bench during gameplay, you will get off the ice immediately.
The Team's Board will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing this code and will be responsible for final decisions and disciplinary actions.
The Mother Puckers were founded on friendship, the drive to learn, excel, and play a new amazing sport, and bringing together a great group of women to play a fun fair game. We strive to continue these foundations and play a clean game and win with dignity and skill. As such, this is a Zero Tolerance policy, which means that in the event that your team's board performs an investigation and rules that a player has broken the code of conduct, the offending player will be asked to leave the team without a refund for any remaining games.
